This review is from: Ingersoll-Rand 109XPA 3/8-inch Air Ratchet Wrench (Tools & Home Improvement)
Purchased for Husband, who is a professional mechanic. This was a step up from his previous IR model, which lasted 5 years. He is still very impressed after several months. Although this tool has a button, the speed can still be regulated with a good hand. Power, this 3/8 air ratchet has hit. On 3/8",8mm, or 10mm bolts, don't push the button in completely or this tool's torque will break the best grade bolt. He used to use his 3/8 air ratchet to tighten diesel exhaust clamps, but not anymore. After breaking a few clamps, he went back to the 1/4" air ratchet.

I have used air ratchets for 40 years and have busted my knuckles enough and caught my hand with the lever trigger models. This is the only push button model I have used and have bought 3- 2 for my mechanic friends who said they would never use a air ratchet again. They love this one and use it ever day. To adjust the torque, just lightly touch the button or push tight and hold on to tighten or remove a bolt.
