I like the renew feature. When the battery starts performing poorly, the charger will ask to perform a renew cycle. This allows the battery to be reset to a "like new" level. This could save money on buying replacements. Also, the battery twists into the tool and locks. It requires a second glance when inserting to align correctly. I thought it would have an LED charge indicator. It does not.
