I been through mac air guns, snap on air guns, and they all gave up on me within 2 years and not to mention their hefty price tag, My last IR thunder gun lasted me 5 years, and it's still working, seals are giving up and it was heavy and noisy, so i decided to buy this gun, boy did i make a good decision, gun is STRONG and quiet, none of my old guns could take crank pulley bolts off, this gun did it QUIETLY, i'm so amazed with how strong and quiet this gun is, you definetely won't regret getting this gun.. I love it... If your a person that uses an air gun everyday this is the one!

UPDATE:

It's October 2013 and this thing is still rocking and rolling!!!

UPDATE:

June 2014 still going strong!

i bought this gun about a month and a half ago, i am an entry level tech and i use it everyday. everything from taking of wheels, to replacing struts and it has plenty of power, it doesn't even flinch. its so quiet too, another tech just got a regular 2135timax and you can hear him from across the street, go with the quiet one its a night and day difference with no sacrifice in power. i highly recommend this gun to anyone thats looking for a new quiet impact, plus all the master techs in my shop recommended IR guns so you can't go wrong with it.

I use this air gun every day at work. I have been using air guns for 25 years. This is the best of the bunch. I love how quite it is.

Partially due to aging and partially due to automakers packing more components into tighter spaces, I finally broke down and bought an air impact wrench. Seems like as the years go by I pay more in the days afterwards from straining on stubborn fasteners - not to mention the bruised and bloodied knuckles when a fastener finally does let loose and your hand becomes pinned between the wrench and some other immovable (and usually sharp edged) object.

Reading through online forums and reviews, the IR Ti-Max impacts were mentioned again and again. When I bought it not too much had been said about the QTi, but I decided to give it a try. The only downside that I've found to it is that it doesn't have that BRAPPP noise to it that every NASCAR watcher associates with using air tools in the shop. It has good power to it and has never failed to quickly and effortlessly break loose any fasteners I put it to. The tool has good balance and I've never found it awkward to use - even in positions where I'm only using one hand at arm's length to reach some out of place fastener. Adding a swivel connection to the air line does help with using the tool in close quarters - that way the air hose can come back along your wrist and arm rather than exiting the tool straight down and running into things.

Recently, I was putting in some lag bolts in my woodshop to fasten some counters and cabinets. After putting in the third lag bolt - pre-drilling a hole and then using a hand wrench to torque the lag bolt into place - the light dawned and I ran downstairs to my "automotive" tools to return with the impact wrench. I had the lag bolts finished up in no time at all!

I have been working in a dealership for over 10 years now. My last gun was an ingersoll 2131 I believe. It lasted me 10 years. I abused this thing and never really took care of it. It didn't owe me a dime. Well they dont make that one anymore. I was looking around and I found this one. I debated between the quiet version and regular. I got the quiet one and wow. It is soo much quieter. It's kinda nice not having a gun scream in your ear all day. And this thing definately has balls too. I've been using it for a couple months now and I am very happy with it.

Its been three years and its seems like its getting stronger every day. There hasn't been a single bolt I haven't been able to remove. Well except for a crank bolt some a-hole used red locktite on. Came right off after a little heat though. When the other guys can't get a bolt off, my gun is the one they borrow.

Those complaining about power. Flush the gun with 1/4 cup of light weight oil. The anticorrosive lube they come filled with is thicker than snot. Use HIGH FLOW fittings. This gun likes CFM, not pressure.

I got this 2135qtimax and was surprised at how quiet this was when i first used to take off tires and put tires back on, the guy in the service bay next to me didnt even realized i took off the tire and put it back on. the guy nect to me has a 450 dolar snapon 1/2 inch impact didnt belive that the gun could possibly install the tire with enough torque he set his at max and it didnt even budge the already torqued lugnut that i put in with my gun at 1/2 the power setting. all in all this is an awesomely quiet and powerful gun that is very attractive as well.
