Ingram Menthol and Lanolin Shave Cream

I remember my dad using this when I was a nipper, and now I am coming up on 50 I got nostalgic for this shaving cream. It's a really good cream. Lathers well and the menthol cooling is noticeable.

I'll be a regular buyer from now on.

This shave cream works really well with a brush and gives a close and comfortable shave. It is as good as some of the lather shave creams that sell for 3-4 times what the Ingram shave cream sells for.

I had used Ingram's lather shaving cream for decades when it eventually disappeared from the retail market. I susequently used two or three other products until they disappeared also. I am delighted to have the Ingram's available again; it appears to be pretty much the old formula except in a smaller tube.

This is an outstanding shave cream. I can't believe it works this good and is less than 10 bucks. Wow. This one is definitely going in the rotation. I like shave creams that work very well and are very inexpensive. Any moron can pay 40 bucks for some top brand and get a decent shave, but lets see you do it for under 10! Ingram is one of those.

I switch between Ingram, Proraso, and Musgo Real because I am a shaving nerd and like the variety. But I secretly want to just stick with Ingram. Amazing shave.

I love this cream! It's got a wonderful smell and it gives me a close shave.

In the past I have used a number of different shaving creams and soaps and thought I would give Ingrams a chance.

First, the price is very good. I was somewhat surprised by its consistency: it is thinner than other shaving creams that I use (such as Proraso, Taylor of Baker Street, etc. However, it does a decent job of making lather and provides a good shave. Although the product contains menthol it does not seem to have that much in it, although I confess to being a menthol addict. :)

I would recommend it based on its price and performance.

I think this shave cream is better than any aerosol but not as good as many others.
