Bought this for my 7-year-old granddaughter. Found out it is actually written for adults to cook meals that kids would like. Recipes are easy to follow using common ingredients. They are written on one page, with the opposite page showing a colorful picture of the finished meal. Throughout the book there are suggestions for adding more ingredients if desired, for other foods to serve with the one you are preparing, safety hints, etc. My granddaughter is so proud that she can make and serve these delicious foods.

I teach a weekly cooking class to 4-5 year old Pre-K kids, and only have a 30 minute window to get a lesson in....this cookbook totally fits the bill....fun food for this age!

I bought this for my son and his children -- 8-year-old twin boys and their 11-year-old brother. They made the tortellini recipe. My son said It was quite good, and certainly simple. They've tagged some others that they want to do. His bottom line: "It's easy enough (generally) that the kids can help, though some of the recipes seem a little haute cuisine, and not nuts-and-bolts kid food."
