5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT BOOK! A++, October 27, 2009

This review is from: Inherent Nature (Paperback)
On a 1-5 star rating system I would give this book a 5 out of 5! The plot was very interesting and never got boring. The setting was very well described and I could imagine it throughout the whole book. He did a great job defining the characters to the reader. I could imagine them perfectly in my mind. I gave this book 5 stars because it was one of the best books I have ever read. It's one of the books you don't want to put down when you're reading it because it's so interesting. I can't wait until the 2nd book comes out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fantasy novel, March 19, 2010
This review is from: Inherent Nature (Paperback)
A fantasy novel, evocative and suggestive , places are gently depicted with vivid images and characthers are remarkably
represented up the the finest details, both in physical and psycological aspects.
The action oscillates between survival instinct and magical atmosphere, where the action is set into a dark, calm setting , building up climax page after page up to the point the reader is taken gently into the next violent fight.
Elements of magic are persistent through all the book and it makes a strong , key element,
Another key element is the bond of one the main characterS with a supernatural being, a personal evil God,making it a distinctive trait for him.
The magic element iexplicates itself through the introduction
of typical fantasy novel villains, wizards trhowing fireballs, elves with supernatural healing capabilities , those figures are not places to entertain the reader adding cliche' elements typical to any fantasy novel, but are the main actors playing a key role along with the main character.
This is a must have book for all the fantasy reader out there.
I strongly reccomend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantasy With A Moral, March 17, 2010

This review is from: Inherent Nature (Paperback)
If you are a fan of fantasy stories and don't have an inherent fear of trolls then this is the book for you. Baumler is very creative in weaving this story of the struggle between good and evil going on in many of us. When the soul of good natured Morgan Mclain gets thrust into the body of an evil troll the battle of evil within versus good within begins. In this creative fantasy yarn we can see how it all plays out. An interesting read!
