5.0 out of 5 stars Made me Laugh out Loud
I've read HUNDREDS of these types of romances and have three piles for the books after I read them---horrible waste of time pile, good enough to pass along to friends pile, good enough to KEEP pile. This goes in my "keeper" pile (which is by FAR the smallest of all the piles). Parts actually made me laugh out loud. Hero was extremely likeable as was the heroine. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars Most Predictable Secret Ever
I actually liked this book, but the "secret twist" is remarkably predictable. If you have ever read a romance novel with an adopted child character who has a sudden strong connection to one of the leads then you can guess it too! The shocking twist was beyond unnecessary, and it almost ruined what was otherwise a really fun little book. Stupid unnecessary drama brought...

This goes in my "keeper" pile (which is by FAR the smallest of all the piles). Parts actually made me laugh out loud. Hero was extremely likeable as was the heroine. The story is told strictly from the Hero's POV which was different but it worked. I actually didn't figure out the twist before the end of the book even though after finishing the book it is easy to look back and see all the clues. Very enjoyable, pleasant read.

This book was surprisingly good, considering what I paid for it. It was cheap and the story was heartwarming and cute.

Story is about Jake, he was a single, ruthless businessman who suddenly finds himself responsible for his niece. His niece survived a plane crash in which her parents died. She has trouble, due to the trauma and grief she is going through and Jake doesn't know how to make it better or help her cope. On top of that, CPS is threatening to take her away from him. He has gone through a bunch of nannies who always quit on him. He had to find someone a new nanny immediately, and hopefully, convince her to marry him, so he wouldn't lose his niece.

Annalise didn't seem to run when she first met Bella. Bella was clearly troubled and needed help. Jake was somehow drawn to her, but her qualifications were not the best. Eventually he ends up hiring her because everyone else bailed. Soon they find each other getting to know each other and bonding. Will he be able to convince her to marry him? Can they make it work, even after she reveals her darkest secrets? Can they help Bella move on?

Heartwarming story, well balanced with romance and humor. I loved seeing them interact as a "famliy" and kept rooting for them to make it work, for themselves and for Bella. Book was a great little find for an incredible price!

I loved this book. Its' not very often that a romance book makes me tear up when it ends.
