This little baby is outstanding and screen is
good for 4" Whats best for me is that it plays
all and I do mean all my home burned dvd+R and
dvd+rw Discs burned in the "DATA" format(4 movies
per 4.7 blank dvd) in vcd format Awesome!!!and I think their
other 5.8" and 8" models will do the same.
Did I mention it also does jpegs!!

I have been looking for a portable dvd player for travel and to double as an in house dvd player, but I would not pay the prices. Then I found this one for 200 dollars! I thought I'll try it, and have not been disappointed yet. The picture is good, not perfect...but for 4inches and the price it works. When hooked to my tv the picture is amazing.

Definitely worth the money, especially with all the accessories.

I commute 130 miles a day and this DVD player is a lifesaver. I can listen to MP3's, CD's or watch DVD movies. Once I arrive home I can also hook it up to my television and watch DVD's.

The only drawbacks I have found are the internal speaker is a little tinny and the picture contrast is too light for my taste. But, the sound can be fixed by a decent pair headphones and for the price I can put up with the picture quality.

I purchased this product as a low-cost stocking stuffer for my wife. After reading two professional reviews on the product from other sites, I decided to give it a shot. Initial advertises this product as both a portable and a stand-alone unit. My thought was to use it as both. Midway through watching my second disk in stand-alone mode, the unit started vibrating loudly, the picture froze, and then stopped playing altogether. Thinking it might be a bad unit, I returned the product and took home a replacement. Well, this time, I was about 1 hour into my first movie when the unit again began vibrating, freezing up, etc. In portable mode, the unit played OK. The picture was not that sharp, but sound was fine. The unit did however get very hot after only a short period of operation. Please stay away from this product. I have since taken it back and will stick to quality products; i.e Panasonic.

When looking for a portable dvd player i decided that i didn't want to spend more than $...and for my budget this was the best one. The clarity of the screen isn't that great but it is worthy for under $...It plays mp3's really well and the only thing that i can complain about is the internal speakers aren't that great but with headphones it sounds really good. Also when it is used on a tv screen the quality of the picture is spectacular if not great. Overall a great product for under $...but that's just me.

I got this as a Christmas gift from my father and fell in love with it!!! The sound is great, the picture is great overall it is a great machine for it's price!!!!! So far I have had no problems what so ever!

For under $..., I just had to purchase this portable DVD Player. This was a great investment for the long drives over the holiday season. I was highly impressed with the compatibility. For those of you who are familiar with the VCD/SVCD format, know the combatibility woes that are associated with them. This player plays them like a champ. The built-in MP3 decoder and player also worked great but the navigation could have been improved.

I would love to give this player five stars but there are a couple areas that should be improved. For one, when playing audio cd's and mp3's, after a few hours of continuous play the discs would start skipping. This appeared to be caused from excessive heat (Note: this problem did not appear while playing DVD's for as long as 8 continuous hours). Also, I felt the 4" LCD screen could be of higher quality. The screen is not as clear and leaves out a lot of small details that I have been able to view with many other portable players. But, then again, what do you really expect from sub $... portable dvd player?
