It is the dream of every entrepreneur to go public and cash out a lifetime’s worth of work. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have For All Accountants, July 18, 2006
A must read book for Accounting Professionals, Professors and Students alike. This book captures the essence of the IPO process and breaks it down into understandable, intelligent, and easy to understand steps which must be followed during the IPO process. I believe like the idea of using a "Balanced Scorecard" approach to taking a company public. It is a unique suggestion on a process many do not understand. I enjoyed the writers style and found the book enjoyable to read. I have passed it on to many colleagues who have expressed the same sentiment I have expressed. Enjoy this book...It is a must have!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Insightful, and Informative, July 18, 2006
By Dr. Neirdoff "Noah" (Stanford, USA) - See all my reviews
I found this book to be most helpful in taking my company public. To be perfectly honest, I didn't even know where to being with the process until I read "Initial Public Offerings." There are many pitfalls, however, this book prepares you for those and the benefits are even greater...another point stressed throughout the book. I am happy to recommend this book to anyone thinking about taking a company public as it provides insight into a "world" filled with so many unknowns. By reading this book such unknowns will be far fewer than expected. A must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for ALL Accounting Libraries, July 18, 2006
I would highly recommend this book for all accounting professionals whom have clients thinking about taking thier Company public. It is an excellent source of information and highly informative. In its easy to read, down to earth, style of writing Dr. Kleeburg is able to capture the essence of the IPO process and the tremendous strenght a company must have to proceed through the process sucessfully. Overall, an excellent book that I would recommend to all.
