"Initiation"is another excellent Mack Bolan novel!,
By Russell Haworth (New Mexico) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Initiation (Superbolan, 64) (Mass Market Paperback)
"Initiation"is great reading and an excellent addition to the Mack Bolan series. Mike Newton,(the author) is always true blue and writes Mack Bolan with superb style. Bolan joins a cult to destroy it from within. Whether you are a Executioner fan, or not, don't pass Initiation up.

Another page gobling saga that goes nowhere fast.,

This review is from: Initiation (Superbolan, 64) (Mass Market Paperback)
Initiation, the first of 3 epics in the Four Horseman Trilogy, starts out slow, stays slow and actually never gets out of the gate. This is Pendleton's first of three 340+ page books in the trilogy. The pages just ramble on, having no clear cut theme in mind. It's another offering from Gold Eagle Books that makes one wonder what he paid for. I was highly dissatisfied with this book, I never yawned so much in my life, as when I read this one. This is another book that I cannot recommend, even to my enemies. Save your money and buy something else. This book (and probably the trilogy) is not worth the money or the time invested to read it. Pendleton must be stretching his limited imagination. The book has the same theme as another recently published book about the militia in Colorado. The same infiltration, the same worries from Hal, the same Mack is incommunicado, the same personality type suspects and plots against Bolan's life, the same ad nauseum. Is Pendleton capable of nothing fresh?
