Ink, Hp 78A Tricolor Inkjet Print Car

I have ordered this particular cartridge(and size) from more than one retailer that advertises this item on this site. While the prices at which they offer the cartridge are good, it turns out that the quality of the product is 'iffy'. Although it comes in a 'factory sealed' box that looks to be genuine, there is no way to tell if the ink inside is actually "HP" quality.

The inks seem to be true to color, and the cartridges work fine in the printer. However, the prints do not hold their color over time, unlike those printed with a GENUINE HP cartridge. In fact, they fade quite quickly. So, in addition to less than stellar ink longevity, you also end up wasting good quality printing papers.

If you're going to buy this item at a spectacularly reduced price, be aware that you might not be getting what you think you are. Sadly, by the time you realize the defect, it's too late to do anything about the purchase. Keep this in mind when buying "discount, factory-sealed" inks. Better to pay a little higher price than field complaints about your prints.

I ordered the HP 78XL Inkjet cartridge. The box contained the HP 78 cartridge not the XL. In addition the refill is either defective or empty. I really think I am the victim of fraud.
