First off, I never refilled any ink cartridge before but I have always wanted to do so just because it's cheaper. I was skeptical like most people and thought I give it a try because my printer has been ink-less for about 1-2 months now. I was surprise to that the process was quick and painless. I did a test print on both my printers and they were what I wanted it to be.

Pros:
-easy instructions.
-quick and simple.
-not messy.
-save money.
-stop wasting ink cartridges.

Cons:
-suggested dispense amount is a little too much. I subtract about 2-3ml from the recommended amount.

I have tried inkjet refills before with less than stellar results. They either make a mess while refilling, leak after, or their color reproduction looks like something by Andy Warhol. This kit came with everything I needed to make the process as mess free as I could hope for. I have experience no issues with excessively leaky cartridges. And I am pleased that I can use it to produce color photos with what appears to be the quality of the factory ink (This is why I wanted to switch to refills in the first place, photos area huge ink sponge)

I suggest if you are not confident that you watch the video on their website which walks you through every step of a pain free refill.

The not so exceptional... I think this ink is sightly thinner than stock. I had to turn down the ink density in printer preferences to keep prints from being to dark. Once done though, prints turned out as well as the original cartridge.

I've been using these inkjet refills for years and they've done their job in saving me quite a bit of money. The process is pretty simple: You place the provided sticker on top of the ink cartridge to help you locate where you should inject the ink; fill up each syringe with the proper amount; inject into the specified locations; use the special syringe to get the ink nozzles primed, and you're done.

It should be noted that if your ink cartridge has been running dry for a while, the success of refilling is limited because the nozzles may have clogged by then. If this is the case, you might be able to unclog them by taking a paper towel or napkin, soaking it in hot water and then applying it to the print heads to clear them up. Just don't forget the priming step.

The reason why this product doesn't get a 5-star rating is because of the continual price hikes the product keeps going through. But this is solvable by just buying your ink somewhere else and then using the kit to continue your refilling duties.

It has always bothered me that I have to replace a tri-color cartridge, just because one of the colors has run dry. No more!

All these years I've been buying new ink cartridges every time, just because I didn't realize how easy it was to refill them! The step-by-step instructions are very clear. I didn't even get any ink on my gloved hands. (There was a little spot on the newspaper I was using to protect the table, where I set the cartridge cradle down after withdrawing a small amount of ink from the nozzle as per the last step of the instructions.)

As far as I can tell, the refilled cartridge is as good as new. I am a happy customer.

I did have some reservations about buying a do-it-yourself-kit, but some of the other positive reviews helped me decide. I am very pleased with the performance and ease of use of the refill kit! I print 50-100 sheets per month in full color for grocery coupons and my ink expense was about $500 per year. Refilling on my own will reduce my ink expense to maybe $100 per year. If you're skeptical about buying this refill kit, take my word - IT IS WELL WORTH IT!

This product works well because beside the ink, the kit contains the hardware to do the job right and with the minimum of mess.
