What a Disapointment.....,
By Lost In The 18th Century (Idaho) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Inkdeath Collector's Edition (Hardcover)
A total disapointment upon receiving. The slip-case the book comes in is covered in a heavy cardboard material, not faux leather or cloth.I gave the book 2 stars because the leather the book is covered in is lovely and a beautiful quality. That is the only item that deserved the 2 stars. As stated the book pages being a light lavender color, that is not true. The only thing that is lavender are the edges on the three sides. The book is susposedly sewn.I noticed clear glue poking out of the ribbon top and bottom.I think for a $100 plus book they should have made the book truer to what was stated. As a collector I chose to return the book. The new J.K.Rowling collectors book had better quality.
