Tip Top Soul Music!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Inkwell (Audio CD)
Many people complained about the film The Inkwell and although I found the film nice to look at the soundtrack is ten times better. The songs were carefully picked to take you back to the feel of the 1970's keeping in tune with the movie. Long time soul hits like " What's Going On " and " Dancing Machine " were masterfully redone by 90's R&B girl group Jade who appeared in the film. Basically those are the only two new songs featured on the soundtrack. The rest is a flashback from the seventies with the hits " On and On " from Gladys Knight and the Pips and a load of the BT Express's biggest hits. This soundtrack is a must have for any lover of old soul and any fan of the film itself.
