The A-LINE-IT Basic Kit is the perfect starter kit for hobbyists and small shops. The 1" capacity dial indicator reads in .001" increments for absolute precision. Self adjusting miter groove bar with leveling screws and spring plungers for perfect fit in your miter slot. Dial indicator mounting bar measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 5-1/2, miter groove bar measures 3/8 x 3/4" x 6-1/4". Very good tool that does everything it is supposed to do. It worked very well to align my table saw. I give it four out of five stars simply because it does one job very well, whereas more money spent would significantly increase the kinds and types of jobs that can be done. If I had to repurchase this tool, I'd upgrade to the deluxe model that A-Line makes. If you want a basic tool to align your saw, this is the one. If you'd like to be able to do more, buy the deluxe A-Line tool. The tool, however is made very well of quality materials.

The A-LINE-IT is very easy to use and accurate. I tested it on my table saw that when I iniatually set the saw up I used a combonation square per the manual and was getting very good cuts and i was satisified with that for the time being. I when the A-LINE-IT arrived I followed the instructions and the helpful DVD and ran it on my table saw to check my miter slot to the blade and was off by 7000 of an inch from front to rear trunnion. I readjusted my trunnions and know the saw is producing more accurate and less burning cuts. I'm very happy with how my saw runs know and I don't believe I could get the accuracy with out the A-LINE-IT. Now I have to check my router table, jointer, planer and drill press.

This product is very easy to use and set up. I aligned my table saw top to the blade. I also aligned my tablesaw fence as well. Overall very good product would recommend it.
