A Kid's Review
I really like rollerblading and my dad built a ramp in my backyard for rollerblading. And I rollerblade almost all the time. Cris and Max are friends in the book and they rollerblade a lot. Cris' dad and brother play hockey and his dad told him to give hockey a shot. Cris joins the team and he didn't want Max to see him because Max thinks hockey is for losers. In this book I learned that you can do anything you want and don't think about what your friends think. Just go and do what you want. It's your choice. And I learned really cool tricks like 720s and 540s. I didn't know that rollerblading and aggro skating were the same thing. I predict Inline Skater is going to be the best book in the series!

4.0 out of 5 stars Inline Skater, April 24, 2002
A Kid's Review
The book Inline Skater by Matt Christopher was a good book. I liked the tricks they did on rollerblades. My favorite character was Chris. It took place in California. I recommend this book if you like street hockey or inline skating.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hockey or a Skater?, April 9, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Inline Skater (Matt Christopher Sports Classics) (Hardcover)
The story is about a boy named Chris Murphy who is an aggro skater. All his friends are skaters, too. His friend Max hates hockey and says that they're for losers. His dad and brother who are hockey players want him to join a hockey team. As soon as he joins, he and Max aren't friends any more. If you are into skating then you should read this book. If you aren't you should read it because you would feel like you're in the story.
