Inner Demons is the second book in the Peachville High series by Sarra Cannon, and just as good as the first! Once again, I couldn't put the book down. The first book, Beautiful Demons, ended with an excellent cliffhanger and I couldn't wait to get back into the world of Harper Madison! I like the fact that I can't entirely figure out everything that is going on and where things are going within the story. Just when I get to the point of thinking I know which side is good and which is evil, there is an unexpected twist that complete changes that for me. I absolutely love being surprised by a book and I like the fact that the good vs. evil theme is somewhat ambiguous in the series so far.

Sarra's writing has a way of snaring you from the opening sentence and fully keeping your attention throughout the book. Her descriptions are vivid and graphic without being overly so, a perfect balance. She brings the characters to life and makes the reader feel as though they are friends with the characters. Harper is an extremely likeable girl that is easy to relate to, and Lark is one of my favorites of the supporting roles. Drake, while protrayed as a bit of an obnoxious jerk, is completely believable as well. I love when an author can create totally realistic characters in the midde of a paranormal story.

4.5 mugs for this one! And, once again, Inner Demons, left me with another surprising cliffhanger that makes me frustrated I have to wait a whole day for the next book, Bitter Demons, due to be released tomorrow!!

Inner Demons by Sarra Cannon is a great sequel to Beautiful Demons. This series is getting more interesting each book!

After reading the first book, Beautiful Demons, I know this series is for me! It is intriguing and the mystery is so mysterious that you are captivated to continue reading to find out more about Peachville.

Inner Demons is full of surprises, twists and turns. There is never a time where you will feel that you need to put the book down. All you can feel is that you need to continue to read it and find out everything.

I really like how there is so many mysterious things within this book. Also, I like how Harper finds ways to uncover all the mysteries.

My favorite part of the book is where Harper finds out who Jackson really is because he was not an average high school boy. It was much deeper than that. He is more than just a boy...actually, he is not a boy at all. I thought it was surprising to find out who he is...or what he is. I never thought that he was what he was because to me, he did not seem very different until people started to call him something different. Although he may not be your average boy, he can surprise you. He helps Harper recover some lost memory, which brightened Harper's eyes to what has happened when her memory was lost.

Inner Demons, just like the first book, was a quick read! It was too good to stop at any point of the book! A fantastic read!

I will admit it had been a very long gap between when I read Beautiful Demons and Inner Demons. I remembered Harper becoming part of the cheer leading squad, everything else I was a bit lost, almost like Harper, hehe. Thankfully, it came back to me once I started reading Inner Demons. Inner Demons was a step into the darker direction of the Peachville Witches. The first book didn't get too crazy into magic much until the end, this book started our right away with the magic and it kept getting deeper and darker as the book progressed.

I am very interested in Morgyn, and I am not sure if we will learn more about or not with what happened in this book. But I am curious to see what her and Jackson's relationship really was like, and speaking of Jackson. Man, so hot! His mysterious edge to him, and you always know he is somewhere watching over you, it just makes him dreamy. His story I am very anxious to find out about, but with the way that this book ended I hope that the next book we will get his back story.

I am interested to see what happens with the girls who make their initiation into the witches order. I wonder if Harper can really help them, or are they stuck the way they are forever? There wasn't one thing I didn't like about this book, I loved the writing style, everything flowed very nicely, and I have to say I am a fan of shorter chapters, because I feel like it helps me read faster ;) I loved this book, and I am so glad I have the next one to read right away. If you start reading this series, buy each book because you will not want to stop reading once you have finished one book!! Cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!!!
