Good product -- Issues with warranty registration,

This review is from: Innergie mCube90 TADP-70AB AG Universal Adapter for Travellers (Personal Computers)
Good product: compact, light and it comes with a nice case that carries all necessary cables. Overall an improvement worth the money from my old and heavy HP universal power adapter.
The warranty can be extended from 2 to 3 years by registering the product within 30 days of purchase. I had some issues with the registration process on Innergie's website but their email customer service was very responsive and fixed the issue in a couple of days.

I love mCube 90 power adapter. I have just changed my laptop to an alienware m11x (ya i am excited about it) and it works very well with my laptor. The design is also better than iGo everwhere. Overall, it is worthwhile.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Innergie mCube90 TADP-70AB AG Universal Adapter for Travellers (Personal Computers)
I received this product with high hopes and wanted to really like this out of the box; however when I opened the packaging, got a rude shock.
The padded pouch in which the cables come is of extremely poor quality - there are thin fibers all over the white cables and they are HARD to remove. I surely didn't expect to cleaning up these white cables as I opened the package! And to make things worse, multiple cables have dark black streaks all over them. This seems to be a manufacturing defect (or maybe an artifact of the poor quality pouch) As of now, I am hoping to get a replacement and see how that looks. And finally -- I don't see the point of having 2 separate empower and cigarette lighter cables when all other power adapters seem to do fine with just a single one with a removable plug! Updated 4/15: Got a new version of the product from Amazon, still the same quality issues as before; guess its going back! |
