Elaine Feuer has worked in the medical division of Little, Brown & Company, and freelanced as a research and development coordinator for a variety of film and television projects. While researching clinical studies for an AIDS documentary, she learned about the FDA's suppression of treatments for AIDS and other serious illnesses. Outraged by the FDA's abuse of its powers, Feuer utilized the skills obtained in achieving a history and criminology degree from the University of Toronto to research and write Innocent Casualties. I grew up in Canada, and was treated for every illness immediately. As an adult, I have lived in the U.S. for 20 years and insurance is incredibly expensive, it's very hard to find a good doctor, and most alternative treatments are illegal -- such as OZONE -- which destroys Cancer cells and tumors. In Canada, the ONLY TIME one has to wait for surgery is if it is ELECTIVE -- which makes sense since every necessary surgery comes first!!!
I can't even get insurance in the U.S. right now because I have an RX for migraines -- a "pre-condition" which is totally controlled by migraine medication..
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
U.S. health care is a FOR-PROFIT SYSTEM -- it is the most expensive and least effective system of all industrialized countries.
I spent all of 2007 as a caretaker for my mother in Vancouver, and as a palliative patient, she was treated with DIGNITY and didn't have to pay for anything, unlike the U.S., where so many people go bankrupt.
Furthermore, she was treated OZONE -- which had saved her life 6 years earlier.-- and helped manage her pain once she became palliative.

So don't believe the lies that Republicans and some Democrats are espousing. After all, medical lobbyists and PACs own these politicians.
