Book Description

June 25, 2004
When Senator Sam Tinsdale's plane crashes short of the runway during a city-wide power failure, NTSB investigator Bob Stambler is sent to Albuquerque to investigate. But when he arrives, he finds the site tampered with, evidence removed; he's threatened by men in snowsuits. When his boss issues a statement that the Cockpit Voice Recorder and Flight Data Recorder failed, Stambler smells a cover-up. Was Senator Tinsdale a victim of political assassination like Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown? Author and FedEx pilot Mark Danielson spins another yarn of murder and double-dealing in this fast-paced political conspiracy.

More About the Author

Mark W. Danielson is a mystery author and airline pilot whose reality based novels have shared startling coincidences with actual events. Writer's Block (2011) introduces Fort Worth Homicide Detective Maxx Watts in an inside look into the publishing industry when a small publisher is murdered in his own home. Diablo's Shadow (2008) is a story of hope that echoes elements of a Florida missing child case that drew national attention. Danger Within (2002) is an action-packed thriller that takes the reader into the world of commercial aviation and underwater salvage. The Innocent Never Knew (2004) is a political conspiracy that parallels the suspicious death of President Clinton's Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown. All are fun, fast reads.

In addition to writing novels, Mr. Danielson has authored numerous non-fiction articles that have appeared in periodicals and professional magazines. While in the United States Navy, he was twice selected as their top author. His worldwide travels enable him to write from perspectives shared by few.

5.0 out of 5 stars Conspiracy at the highest levels..., May 10, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Innocent Never Knew (Paperback)
Skilled, suspenseful writing at its best...Mark Danielson has taken government conspiracy to a new level. Insights and parallels to the Ron Brown crash propel this book...defining characters ~ those who will stop at nothing to get what they want and those who become victims, one way or another. From an insider's prospective, Danielson gives us the goods and delivers a heck of a story. Mesmerizing and fast, you're through it before you know it.

You are hooked by the second page and can't turn the rest of them fast enough. The "Innocent Never Knew" has it all ~ fast paced plot, political conspiracy, haunting relationships, victims, heros among killers, and you can't forget the dog! What more could you want...unless it is more books from this author? Intelligent without pretentiousness. Personal without fluff. Exciting, exciting, and exciting. The authors ability to keep me turning pages was refreshing. I will read anything availble by this writer. It is a thin line between fiction & non-fiction.
Perhaps there is no line? Excellent!!!!!
