We selected this product based on price and customer reviews. We are SO pleased. Have been using the product for nearly a year. It was easy to install, has been no problem regardless of weather and the dogs were easy to train. We didn't follow the training CD or the 2 week training protocol. We showed it to our dogs a couple of times and they picked it up very quickly. Fantastic product!

We bought this fence for our black lab and installed it ourselves when she was about 9 months old. We have a half acre total but just fenced the back yard. It was easy to install ourselves. She learned very quickly (she's smart) so training was easy. It was well worth the money. We got estimates on a chain link fence and I think this was the way to go. The collar hardly ever needs to be charged and gives you plenty of warning by beeping orange instead of green. Yes, she has run through the fence. But I think every time it was my fault. I'm too nice sometimes and don't make the collar tight enough. Sometimes she gets a little shaggy and I have to trim her fur where the collar makes contact. If I fix those problems it works well and she will stay in the yard no matter what's in the woods behind our house...deer, cat, skunk...One thing I would've done differently is put the control box somewhere else out of sight. Right now it's in the front foyer, I wish I had put it in the den off to the side of the front door. It is a bit of an eyesore.
