I bought this item thinking it would be just like the rest, so so. It wasnt. Innotek out did themselves on this 1000 yard trainer. I have a one year old Lab that is quite adventuresome, and its made her a new dog. She has more freedom now outdoors so she is much more content when she is indoors. When they say a 1000 yards they mean it. She can travel as far as she likes and i can still get her home in a matter of seconds. We use it in the house to train her to stay off the beds and couches. Its excellent. The rechargable battery is great, no more spending money on those little batteries that last a day and cost $10.00. Great range of settings too. 1 for very subtle and 15 for aggressive behavior. With tone training to eliminate the shock feature completely if you like. If you have had a bad trainer in the past and may give up your pet because you think you cant deal with them. Buy this first it will certainly change your mind. It did mine.

My collar stopped working after 3 months. Innotek doesn't honor their warranty unless you buy from an authorized dealer (which doesn't include Amazon).

It was with some trepidation that we bought the Innotek Digital Trainer. Would we turn him into a monster or a frightened pet with no sense of love and joy? Since Brandy knew what he was supposed to do and was well trained, he learned from too much bribery with treats that he didn't have to obey. On or two zaps and all was changed. We now only use the tone. Family and friends now find our house a fun place to visit and Brandy no longer dominates everything with his disobedient behavior. Even if we don't put on the collar, he knows who is in charge.
