I purchased this pan to replace one that doesn't sit flat on my girlfriend's glass topped stove. Much to my dismay, the bottom on this pan was not flat either. It would be good on a gas stove, I suppose. The body of the pan is made of fairly thin steel, with a heavier bottom attached. I returned it. Save up your money and invest in a higher quality pan. Another example of substandard Chinese goods.
