Innovative schools understand that the future is not someplace we are going to, but one that we consciously shape with our thoughts and our actions. Leaders of such schools also understand that there is no single magic formula that works, no step-by-step directions or recipes to forging pathways that take us into the future. What they are doing is innovating to explore possibilities, find out what works, and what will help them get to where they want to go. The results of their innovative work offer us some great ideas clues and insights we can use in our own journeys of innovation. This book is a compilation of the most powerful ideas, from some of the best thinkers in the field including Michael Fullan, Sir Ken Robinson, Will Richardson, Joan Dalton, the Anytime, Anywhere Learning Foundation, Travis Smith and more. This is a must read for any educational leader, and a launching pad into a whole world of educational discovery. All funds from the sale of this book go directly to the student lead project DeforestACTION.
