This is a great little car computer/monitor, and does everything it claims (and more). Functionally, it plays CDs, DVDs, supports lots of containers and codecs, including XVID, DIVX, MP3, MPEG, JPEG, AVI, BMP, and a few others. The device comes with all the connectors and accessories shown, and was shipped promptly from the seller. The bluetooth connectivity is good, and the other apps are functional in what they do.

The interface can be a little clunky at times, and isn't documented anywhere, but is relatively easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. It's not the best interface, but it's not the worst I've used either. The major reason I dinged it is that it lacks language settings (the choices are English and Chinese) and not all of the "applications" are fully translated. The media player, for example, has several tags still in Chinese, and the entire settings menu inside the media player is only in Chinese.

The documentation is good when it comes to how to navigate the main system, and the hardware connections. In fact, there are several very detailed drawings of the wiring system, and each wire is labeled, both on the wire and via a small text tag. There are a few things that could be documented a little better (like how to hook up the steering wheel controls), but over all it's pretty nice.

The GPS software is an older version of the PolNav system. Not only is the interface almost unusable in "2D" mode, but the maps loaded are circa 2007. The POI database is also rather slim, and outdated. And while it does ship with a standard GPS antenna, it can often take upwards of a minute to get a lock on where it's at, even in clear weather.

The unit works as advertised. Lots of options and features. The GUI is kinda simple but functional. i bought it for the option to connect a CarPC and that works flawless, the computer displays crisp and clean. Don't have it installed yet but on the bench it looks good and responds quickly to touch. Screens change fast enough too. All-in-all a good product especially for the price; the seller is also really responsive. On the other hand, the manual could be a bit more elaborate, many things leave you guessing like how to hook-up the steering wheel wires. I don't know about longevity since i've only had it a couple months but it seems to be well built. Comes with all the wires and accessories you may need to connect it to an ipod, thumb drive and so forth. I would recommend it.

EDIT: After having this unit for 7 months It seemed OK at first but after having it on the bench and giving it a good work-out, it's (dark) colors started to show: I have not been able to get the GPS to work. Also, if you leave it on the home screen for long and switch to another screen, some of the home screen buttons will overlay the other screen. While playing a DVD, if you "zoom" to fit the screen, the notice "zoom X2" that appears on-screen never goes away. The icons on the home screen self rearange when you shut the unit down; so if you move the GPS button from menu 2 to menu 1, it will be back in menu 2 when you power-up again. The radio don't pick-up as many stations and some that used to be clear on my factory radio are noisy and statiky on this one. The GUI is kinda-a cheese too. There is no support for new maps or for simple things like how to pin-down the menu buttons; even worst now because it appears it's been discontinued.
