Took a bit of tinkering and I'm pretty computer saavy, big touch screens are nice but not really necessary except for GPS in which case this unit excels. The GPS works great and the usb and iphone plugin are very nice features. The bluetooth connects to my iphone and the call clarity is excellent. Loses one star because the software is not nearly as polished as something you would expect from a more reputable audio manufacturer but all in all I don't regret my purchase.

The first unit I received developed a problem shortly after I installed it, the screen wouldn't fully retract into the deck. The seller's CS was very helpful, they had me send the deck back for replacement and didn't require me to send back all the harnesses that I'd spent hours running behind my dash. Just be aware that if you do have to return an item, since they are located in Canada and require you to do returns via USPS it'll set you back at least $30 for international shipping to return this item.

The radio has a lot of features and I mean a LOT! Probably way more then you'll ever use. The unit connects to the internet though my phone using the HotSpot function easily but sharing 3G via the included USB dongle. The Bluetooth works for calls and playing music and the on-screen controls even work with my phone to pause/play/skip songs. I have found that while playing music with Bluetooth the sound quality is 100 times better if I turn off wifi and the hotspot functions, nearly as good as wired.

Now the Cons. It looks like Innovatek has put a lot of work into the interface on this unit but they seem to have fallen short on quite a few simple things. They need to have some sort of automatic screen saver/screen blanking feature or at least make the screen blanking icon available on every screen. My biggest pet peeve about this radio (and a lot of these entry level units) is that there seems to be no way to change the main clock from a 24hr format even though the unit uses WinCE for the OS and EVERY OTHER clock in the unit is am/pm.

The device is a pretty unique device. a Car Radio/ GPS / Media center/ that runs on windows CE. it actually plays games, the construcion is very good it downloads music videos right to your sd card. There are alot of other features i didnt mention. Seems like a lot of Good for a 2 star review right?

well the downside
Even though it does so much the most important thing ( the reproduction of video) it does not do well at all. it constantly skip frames making even the smallest video look like a stop motion film. At first i tried to ignore it but it kept irritating me. Sometimes it wouldent play the videos at all at which i had to restart the unit ( sounds like windows right).
THis unit has so much potential to be awsome but they boched it with insuficient resources to do what it is intended for. Sometimes using the screen is a bit tedious at wich you might need a stylus ( aperently they are not obsolete).
THe unit has 2 USB ports if I connect them both neither of them work. Had to just use the one on the rear
Buy the unit if you just want a cool radio/ mp3 player but dont expect to get decent video from it and dont expect to get a seamless interaction with it either it has its little quirkynesses

Overall its great considering all the features... but you cant upgrade the internal memory... the video quality framerate is horrible and skips constantly... and flash support doesnt work on anything but games (youtube wont work), also 3G hotspot sharing doesnt work(only wifi).

tech support from Innovatek is non-existant... they never reply to emails

So if you want this to surf the web and listen to music and have a decent stereo with extra stuff its worth the price... but it leaves room for improvement..

first the system features far exceed anything I've seen and really makes it hard to resist. However their are a few issues that they need to resolve. 1. the sound card keeps going out either its a hardware issue or a conflict in the comm ports. 2. the guidebook or manual needs to give more direction falls short way short. fix these problems and this is a great radio.
