Customer Reviews

The sound quality is average for being a tablet.

Other things: the tablet has a habit of not waking up from sleep mode, and I have to do a hard reset with the power button.

After reviewing what seems to be 100's of tablets, This one has come in Number 1 at the price range, Haveing a little issue getting youtube to work, however.. Netflix is great! touch screen works great, and I also purchased the keyboard, and that works perfect too.. The best i have seen at this price range, I bought 2.

Not a bad little tablet. Pretty feature full compared to other similarly priced Android tablets. However, it is NOT a 1.5GHz tablet. Multiple benchmarks show it is only running at a max of 1GHz. Overclocking it to 1.2 or 1.5GHz immediately crashes it.

Looks like it's a rebadged EKEN T01, which is only a 1GHz tablet.

Its a great tablet for people looking for a low price. Ive tested it comparing it to my asus tablet and it works just as good. Ive installed apps and run great. Battery life is pretty good. The screen responds well, and i havent had any issues with freezing or slowness. I like using the kindle on it because its much easier to hold than a 10in. Overall i think this is a great product for the price, would recommend.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and since she is fairly new to Android, I took the liberty to load some apps for her. Its pretty nice and fast. I purchased an hdmi cable and connected it to our lcd and it was a pretty good picture. some apps from the market were not available for this build as of yet. but I believe there will be soon. Also, we plugged in her 8gb usb card as extra storage along with the 8gb internal storage and the 16gb sd card i purchased. This is a great product. VERY NICE for the buck. I will purchase the 10 inch for myself soon.

While this product is getting behind the times I thought I would write my experience. Its been OK overall but really only useful lately with some of the custom roms on XDA (specifically cm10) (this is essentially an eken t01a tablet with private branding). Before those, my smart phone was always the goto.

The battery is not great but I was not expecting it to be. Assume 3-4 hours of actual use at most.
Clock speed is only 1ghz despite anything you see elsewhere.
The tablet's stock user interface is very laggy. With cyanogen 10 (a jelly bean rom) it gets much better but make sure you back up your old version of netflix as the new one doesn`t work.

Hdmi out is great looking! easily the best part.

Other things: the tablet has a habit of not waking up from sleep mode, and I have to do a hard reset with the power button. Keyboard was cool but of low quality and the space bar on mine was sticky. Touchscreen is not great and a little frustrating, especially in the corners.

If I had get another I`d get a pipo u1 or if I wanted a budget one, the pipo s1. About the same battery and screen and memory but a better chip inside and likely better support.

When I saw the expected shipping date I was a little disappointed, but it came the very next day via DHL. That was a very nice surprise. I did not see a lot of reviews when I bought this so I was hoping for the best; it works great. I was able to install the latest flash player and netflix android app with no problems. It loads fast, doesn't seem to be much lag when running apps. Youtube and Netflix videos run in HD clear and vividly. The screen is fairly sensitive - except for the lower left corner where you back up/back out of screens. There may be an easier or better way to get out of programs, but I just got it so I'm still learning. The WiFi range is decent, I have connectivity 1 level lower than where the router is located and outside. There were no instructions inside but it appears to be brand new. ;)

Update: after playing with this a bit I did check the system info and it does only clock in at 1.07ghz max. If there's something I can do to get it to run at 1.5ghz as advertised, please let me know.

Has anyone actually benchmarked theirs (using AnTuTu Benchmark or Quadrant Standard Edition)? This is actually ONLY a 1.0GHz tablet marketed as 1.5GHz. If you overclock it to even 1.2GHz it crashes.

I love it! If you're expecting something comparable to the iPad this isn't it. If you want a good eBook reader and tablet that's affordable,THIS IS IT. The only con is that it only has 8gb (which I knew when I bought it so that was no surprise) which is a bit small but nothing a 32gb card won't fix. For the money you can't go wrong.
