The Innovations Air Chuck SL is the smallest, lightest and most durable C02 inflator on the market. It is extremely easy to use and only weights 21 grams without the cartridge.
Because it is made of metal, it isn't going to crack and become unsafe like a plastic inflator can. It takes threaded cartridges which cost more than the un-treaded ones, but there are internet sellers that sell the 16g treaded cartridges for less than the un-treaded cartridges cost in a retail store. A threaded cartridges will not leak once screwed into the nozzle and is much more foolproof than an un-threaded cartridge.

I had my mine for about 3 years and used it a couple of times. At the worst moment possible (13,000 feet up, 8 miles from home) I experienced a flat, took out my trusty inflator and upon attempting to inflate the tire it came apart. The problem is the press fit between the aluminum and brass let go. I found the 3 or 4 parts required, re-assembled and used a rock to re-set the press fit (around the perimeter). It has been working since. That day though, I walked a solid 8 miles down 4000'. I now bring a manual pump and the CO2 system for long trips.

This Innovations product works great and is very small. You just screw it onto a CO2 cartridge and squeeze it to inflate the tire. No need for the bulkier, more expensive Innovations inflators.

Finally tried it today.. and....
Today i had my first flat tire.... and in 5 minutes i replaced the flat tire. it worked great, with half co2.. i wonder if i could have saved it and used it another time..

I'm Going to Pump You Up

Don't ride without it
I use to ride every weekend, I ride with friends at least 40 kms (25 miles) most time is offroad, in this year I have had 3 or 4 flat tires. Read more
