This review is from: Innovations in Pain Management Volumes 1&2, Fourth Edition (Hardcover)
this review is for the older - 4 volume notebook bound set version of the text. there has since been a newer hardcover text which I don't think is as concise or relevant.
I borrowed a copy of this text from a colleague to study for my AAPM certification, and had to get a copy for myself. The chapters are well organized, and discuss the variety of pain management treatment options is clear detail.
I keep this in my library and reference it often. If nothing else, it provides good vocabulary to define and discuss the variety of pain management treatment options available. While not a didactic dissertation of clinical protocols or prescription pathways, it emphasizes the current trends in integrative pain management care, and gives you insight as to how to recognize the different care needs of a patient.
Highly recommended.
