Yes, it would look like a big lump at times given the bag's reasonably small size.

I need a casual bag which allows me to carry some stuff on day trips and outing, and it must be handsfree as I strongly resent carrying anything in my hands.

It definitely folds down pretty small, but in less then 4 weeks of traveling it already developed a big hole in the bottom seam.

i was looking for one a little smaller, but this one fit the bill. folds up nicely, is light when worn, holds a pretty good load. frays just a little along the zipper pleats, but i'm pretty impatient when i'm in a hurry, so part of that is my fault. I'll buy another one when this one is ready to go. One thing to note, the bottom outer pocket only has one zipper that closes at the bottom. I always have to make sure that I remember to check that it's closed so that I don't lose anything, but that isn't a horrible thing.

Follow up: got a new one last christmas (2013) because the zipper on the original eventually got caught in the nylon liner. Still have it now (Nov 2013), lasting about the same...will probably ask for a new one because of the price...lasting one year is pretty good considering it is all nylon and I put some pretty heavy stuff in it

- The seller shipped this very fast. The price is very low. But, the opened product I received was no bigger than a medium backpack and was not like the one in the picture. EDIT: The full pack in the picture is to it's limit and looking at it closer, you can see it bulging. I tried the same thing and it will allow you to overstuff it a little but this is not recommended because it is very thin material. PRO: Lightweight material CON: Could tear or wear out faster.
- It has 2 compartments. The main backpack that has no inner pockets and the external pocket that like another reviewer said, make sure it is closed due to the way it zips shut.
- Note: The straps are not padded and the part you see in the pic are what the entire straps are like. Edit: The straps are not the most comfortable but they just take a little getting used to.
- If you want a step up from a drawstring style backpack/daypack, it is a good choice. 4 stars is a good review so I do recommend it for an on the go person looking for a lightweight/thin pack.

Not recommended as a long-term primary backpack of course, but this bag is awesome. Folds down to nothing. Great for travel. Seams appear to be well stitched. SO light...feels like parachute material. Zippers holding up well so far.

Perfect for our use. Throw it in a suitcase for day trips when the heavy backpack is just too heavy. Light weight...good for a rain jacket, brochure, reader, bottle of water and then throw in those souvenirs to come home.
Came extremely fast. Love that Prime shipping feature.

I've had this foldable backpack about a month now and pull it out to carry small lightweight items (lunch bag and foldable rainjacket). The zippers seem fragile so I don't overuse them. The small compartment has a single zipper that terminates on the bottom left edge of the backpack so if you don't make sure it is zipped, things *will* fall out. It is thin material similar to umbrella material. I wouldn't use for storing a wallet or valuables because it would be easy to cut through. I'm happy enough with it for what it is and its low price. The shipping was fast too.

Took this on a recent trip to Italy and It served its purpose very well. It arrived quickly after ordering it. Packs up to almost nothing. The quality is fine for its cost. It's capacity is adequate for a light jacket or sweater, an umbrella and a bottle of water. I would recommend it.

Wonderful concept of folding backpack, but it ripped by the third use. I didn't even have anything heavy in it. Need to bemade a little more durable.

I got it in 5 days in California. Light weight, super compact, all black, exactly what I wanted at an amazing low price. I am a frequent business traveler spend 3 months a year in hotels, I travel with a backpack and suitcase, the backpack is just too big for daily runaround, always bump into people behind me in elevators, subway and when I turn. I need a casual bag which allows me to carry some stuff on day trips and outing, and it must be handsfree as I strongly resent carrying anything in my hands.

I need it to be light weight and compact because as a traveler going thru several countries in 2 weeks, every ounce counts, and tiny size matter down to the battery weight and sizes, what may seem reasonable weight on day 1 will turn into lead brick on day 3 or 10, there is never enough space for business things you add on during the visits.

This backpack folds into an one inch thin bag which can be pressed to 1/2" thick. 6"x9"x1", the zipper bag has belt loops so I can carry it handsfree on my belt, open only if needed, and the pack is flat and soft, so my arms and hands do not run into it. It weights less than my iPhone5. I opened the zipper bag, unfold and expand the pack within 15-30 seconds. I don't even need to take off the open backpack when I get into the car or taxi, as I must with regular backpack.

When empty, it is flat and hugs my back, almost invisible when wearing a black T or polo, it became part of my clothing and I feel no weight. It is just simple all black, no logo, no ugly stripes and no design, which is exactly what I want but very hard to find as almost everything has some colors or silly designs or brand.

I don't know how long it will last, but at such low price, when it breaks, I'll just buy anther one, and another one. This is one of those rare lucky buy when everything is just right at super cheap price.
