Product Description

LED Battery Operated Bow Lights are portable navigation light that attach to the stern by C/U clamps and an 18-inch foot pole. LED Bow portable navigation light attaches to the bow by C clamp. The LED lamp uses 1/8th the energy of comparable incandescent lamps. The one piece molded constructed housing is completely watertight and features a double optical lens, o-ring lens housing, shock resistant neoprene rubber accents, ultra-sonic sealed lenses, heavy duty rubber boot on/off switch and is fully buoyant. Operates on 4 AA batteries (not included).

Only one complaint and that is the clamp. Only one screw so the unit can and does turn sideways. The LED lights make the battery last a long time and are bright enough to meet the "laws". Nice solution without running wires around the boat. Especially if you only need night lighting once or twice a year.

Clamp appears to have been upgraded since the orignal design. I say this because they didn't bother to increase the length of the mounting screw, which, no longer is long enough. The clamp is still a chunk of crap, better off mounting the thing some other way like a spring loaded clamp. Light seems solid, o-ring seal on battery access, brass and plastic parts on outside for corrosion resistance. Exact same light as their Stern lamp, only different lens cap.
