I love trail running and have been experimenting with barefoot running too.
I have been using these shoes exclusively for when I 'm not barefoot and they are the best on wet, muddy and rocky trials which I am not ready to do a lot of mileage on--yet--barefoot. They dry quickly, stick to whatever surface i'm on and keep my feet close to the ground. They get wet a lot and the rubber on the toes of my first pair looks like its starting to crack a bit, but they have been through a lot! This was a great deal for me on Amazon. I noramlly wear a woman's 6.5 or 7 but but this size (Mens--6 or Womens 7.5)was just right.

I wear these primarily for work, and am really happy with the fit and comfort. The heel is set lower providing more lateral stability, mesh is highly breathable and midsole provides adequate cushion without being too soft.
