These shoes are ultra-light, and quite comfortable. I've worn them in all types of conditions and on all types of terrain, and can say that where comfort is concerned they are the best trail shoes I have owned. There are a couple of drawbacks however. First, the tread, which is staggeringly good on earth, pavement, and dry rock, is seriously dangerous on very wet rock surfaces. I have definitely felt unsafe on wet, rocky slopes and ridges while wearing these. Second, the soles have delaminated after a few months use. I am not an athlete, and I haven't put these shoes through too much, so, to me, that is an unacceptably short life-span for a pair of shoes.

The above aside, these shoes are quite amazing on dry surfaces. The grip of the sole is almost paranormal, and the flexible and sensitive toe makes trail running a real pleasure. I think my feet are in better shape for having worn these.

Watch out !
If you are bying these thinking that they are the first version of the Terroc 330, as suggested by the photo, think again.
The shoes shipped to me were a newer version. They look more or less the same and are based on the same sole, but the upper is different ! I am not saying that they are bad, but I specifically wanted the old version. Amazon seemed to be the only one still selling those, so I bought from them. If I would have known that I would get the newer shoe, I would have gone with another seller who was selling the newer version, but wasn't charging for shipping & handling.

I am reluctant to buy shoes without road testing them, but so far these shoes have been great. They are comfortable and look great. I will wear them to work and around town.

I purchased these shoes for use as daily wear shoes, though I have worn them for trail runs occasionally. I'm impressed with their excellent tread, durability, and comfort. They are also very breathable, especially through the top of the shoes--something that is not obvious until you wear them. (The mesh looks like solid material but actually is quite porous.) I have to confess that I purchased the shoes mostly because I liked the way they look and had not heard of Inov prior to seeing them on Amazon. Fortunately, my rather impetuous decision turned out to be a good one and I will certainly keep Inov in mind for future purchases.

Could not find these shoes in the stores, so purchased thru Amazon.....these shoes are wonderful enough to hunt them down! Comfort, fit, wearability, long lasting, and look good without being over-the-top flashy, like so many shoes are today! Ii would highly recommend these shoes for the serious walker or for just someone who likes to stroll around their own neighborhood.

I bought my first pair of Inov Terroc 330 trail running shoes a few years ago and wore them constantly on the trails as well as every day. I love the styling and the durability. The soles look practically the same as when I first bought them and thus I kept them for kick around shoes. I bought a new pair because I was told that shoes only have so much mileage. I didn't notice a decrease in cushion, etc. but they were starting to look a little ragged. I ran on trails, for marathons on asphalt and as an everyday shoe and cannot think of a complaint. I even still have the same laces and the cross pattern lacing system is great as well as the rubber tip which is darn near indestructable. Don't think twice, this shoe is a bargain...just buy it.
