The Inov-8 Roclite 318 GTX is a waterproof and breathable lightweight running shoe for mud, wet and even deep snow conditions. For mountain marathon, adventure racing and trail running. Meta-Flex - this boot incorporates a meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural fore foot flex and protection whilst running. Met Cradle - The upper webbing support in this boot is anatomically positioned to cradle the fore foot behind the metatarsal heads and provide a secure foot hold whilst running. Fascia Band - This band is a replication of the plantar fascia ligament to increase propulsion efficiency and reduce fatigue in the foot. Three arrow midsole - which gives mid level cushioning to the wearer. Sticky Rubber Compound - this shoe uses Inov8's exclusive sticky rubber compund which has been specially developed using climbing rubber technology. This rubber optimizes grip in wet conditions, however the trade off is it wears down quicker. Performance Last - precise fitting last ensures minimal internal movement when contouring, ascending and descending. TPU Lacing Support - lacing attached polymer upper supports and cradles the foot more evenly.
