First, be aware that there are TWO versions of this light: the two battery, 85-lumen T3, and the three battery, 100-lumens version (newer). The price should be about $64 or so for the latter; a bit less for the former.Either light cuts through the night and is great outdoors. For indoor or around-the-house, the rechargeable T4 is a better bet. The T3 makes an enviable survival light and is built to last. Batteries can be had for as little as a buck apiece on the Internet. It also can use rechargeable 123A 3.6v batteries. It's really out of proportion for its size and the fit and finish are outstanding. But all Inovas are well built, regardless how bright they are. Each is made from the finest HIII aircraft aluminum and there are washers on all threaded areas, making it usable in all kinds of weather. The lithium batteries also are not as susceptible as other battery types to cold weather. Oh, and the bulb lasts for about 100,000 hours, so it's a flashlight you can pass on to your kids. |
