This review is from: Inquiry and the National Science Education Standards: A Guide for Teaching and Learning (Paperback)
I have read this through more than once, and find much of it to be very thoughtful, but not terribly appropriate for my classroom (I teach a mixed 7-12 grades class of special needs teens).
I especially appreciate the blend of theory and practice, and many of the ideas in the book are well illustrated with real world examples. It is a good introduction to the topic, but not quite what I was looking for. |
