so so so many quotes in this movie, i thought everyone would think it would be funny, but i showed it to a couple of friends who just looked bored. of course, half the stuff in this movie is inside jokes. it was great seeing mick foley in action whoopin shaggy's @ss. it was also great watching jumpsteady playing as hack benjamin shooting a missle at a building as sugar bear gets his groove on with the extremely big boned missy. all of sugar bear's lines rhyme except for when he's getting so stoned and dolemite had to come and set him straight. jumpsteady played many many roles in this movie, just check to see if you can see him everywhere. harland williams (kenny from half baked) plays as a little wussy 'smack me around' cop who just adds to the flavor. jamie madrox and monoxide child were great as cry baby bodyguards and the guy from the jerky boys played as the chief of police in a fat suit. you have magic ninjas and corrupt preachers and a gorrilla trying to rob a donut shop who gets his @ss beat with another great quote from sugar bear.
get this movie with the special features. the videos are great to watch and the commentary is just as funny as watching the movie. this is about the only movie i have found that would make that true. magic magic ninjas whut, magic magic ninjas whut!

I have only been an ICP fan for about two years now, but when I got into them, I REALLY got into them. Once I looked beyond the initial reaction of their gut-wrenching slaughterhouse carnival lyrics, I realized that their gimmick is one of the best out there: they justify their crusade against domestic violence, ignorance, the selfish upper-class, and bigotry with... more violence! Well, since I first heard them I have bought everything they put out. I could have burned copies from my friends or downloaded their entire library for free, but that wouldn't be good enough when it comes to this Detroit duo. I have seen most of their music videos, and even though Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are just a pair of inner city D-town scrubs who made it big through the underground scene, these guys CAN act. Their body language and facial expressions really convey the personalities of the characters they are portraying at any given moment. So when I bought Big Money Hustlas, I knew it was going to be a terrible movie, but something I just had to have anyway. Well, I was right on both counts, which is why I give it three stars. If you are a juggalo, it's beyond a 5; if you're not, and you are just looking for a nice comedy to watch with your lady friend, giving it 1 star would be far too generous. You have to know what these guys are about to be able to enjoy this. With all of their success, they have never forgotten who they are or where they came from, which is why they go out of their way to be the first to make fun of themselves. The first time I watched it, my reaction was, "This is even worse than I thought!" But by the end of the week I had watched it from start to finish more than 5 times, which just goes to show what a clever movie it is. You have to realize that ICP intended for this movie to look low-budget. Not in picture quality (which is excellent), but in the special effects, props, and scenery. These guys have the money to make just about any kind of production they want, but in keeping with the '70s theme of pimped-out detectives like Shaft and Dolemite, they had to make it look like it was put together in someone's basement or it would lose its credibility. The parts of the movie that would make most people say, "That's stupid!" only go to show how talented they are for deliberately making the movie that way. The characters are great, and the roles played by Twiztid (who took off the face paint for this special occasion) really grow on you. My friend and I watched BMH over the summer, and we still toss out lines from the movie when we get together. So there you have it: buy this movie, but watch it with an open mind. Give it a chance and you just may be surprised. On the other hand, you may also feel like you wasted your money. All in all, this is a movie not for the young, just for the young-at-heart. Myself, I'm anxiously awaiting the DVD release later this month so that I can enjoy it all over again. Much clown love!

This movie was the atom bomb. I was sure it would have funny moments, being ICP, but this piece of juggallo land had me rolling from the moment I popped it in until way after the last credits rolled. If you're a juggalo, you should own Stranglemania, Stranglemania 2, and Shockumentary, but YOU MUST OWN BIG MONEY HUSTLAS.

Its about time to see these two great clowns on the big screen, especially on DVD. The movie is very funy with special apearences by dolemite himself, cactus sack..(Mick Foley), harland williams, icp themselves, twisted, the jerky boys....ect. What a great cast. Iv beendwon with the clown for like 5 years now..and i can't wait for the sequel..BIG MONEY RUSTLAS!! The dvd itself is so muich better than the vhs...when i bought the vhs the qualitu was just plain horrible...it was fuzzy and the qulaity overall was jus horrible. The DVD version is improvd with a widescreen formatt and a whole lot better picture trust me!! It also has two music video's and very funny commentery....do urself a favor and just buy the dvd..The only problem is there is no scene selection!! I mean every dvd has scene slection.. Thats the only problem...i mean i gues you could skip through the scenes but still...scene slection would be alot better....overall if ur a die-hard icp fan ul bag thissss..

This is some of ICP's greatest works. I laughed, I cried, I went out side to wrestle. With adding Castus Sack, The Misfits, and Kenney from Half Baked, this flick will make you laugh your....off. Thanx Shags and J.

Look out conseratives; hide your daughters! The Wicked Clowns have arrived to your door once again, only this time they're going to the movies! Specifically made as a dirty love letter to devoted Juggalos everywhere, "Big Money Hustlas" is a crude yet hilariously funny film that's chockfull of Faygo, glazed donuts, gun violence, Magic Ninjas, double-D implants, hardcore wrestling and, of course, lots of hip-hop street slang. It also pays homage to the Blaxploitation flicks of the mid-70's. Solely written by Joseph Bruce (AKA Violent J of ICP), "Big Money" stars his own rap partner Shaggy 2 Dope as Sugar Bear, a funky, rhyme-talking cop who struts his way out of the 1970's and into the ghetto streets of present-day New York. Aided by the Police Department's overweight, donut-eating Chief (Johnny Brennan) and a cowardly Rookie named Harry Cox (Harland Williams), Sugar Bear strolls through all of New York to battle criminals and bring justice to the innocent. Violent J, meanwhile, revels in his villanous role as Big Baby Sweets, a powerful and nasty crime lord who posseses all of New York in his backpocket. He, along with his potty-mouth yes-men Big Stank & Lil' Poot (Twiztid) and silent assasin Hack Benjamin (Jumpsteady), assembles a rough, tough crew of thugs and gangstas to rob New York City of every dollar it has! Will the smooth-talking Sugar Bear have enough wits to stop him?! Tune in to find out!WARNING: THIS FILM ALSO DISPLAYS STEREOTYPIC IMAGES OF WOMEN, PREACHERS, POLICE OFFICERS AND THE OBESE. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. I must also comment that when I originally viewed "Big Money Hustlas" from beginning to end, I of course was extremely offended by the overall content. However, over time I watched the film again...and again...and again. Soon enough, I myself became addicted to this movie, even though I'm not yet a full-fledged Juggalette. What I really enjoy the most from "Big Money Hustlas" is how Violent J and Twiztid are standing face-to-face with the camera while shouting out their lines; it was as if they were speaking DIRECTLY TO THE JUGGALOS! In general "Big Money Hustlas" is a top notch cult classic that pushes itself far beyond the social borders of obscenity...and it's obvious that everyone at Psychopathic had lots of fun doing it! Nevertheless, I urge all fledgling Juggalos to NOT watch it while their parents are in the next room!

Eh yo, this movie is the maddest. Shaggy 2 Dope is Sugar Bear a hard-core cop from Frisco when he's called to New Yor to stop the notorius Big Baby Sweets portrayed by Violent J with his side-kicks Big Stank and Lil Poot "Jamie Madrox and Monxide Child" also known as Twiztid steal the show and are madd hilarious. And ICP are the maddest craziest funniest hero and vilain to grace da small screen. With it's special features like the videos of "Tilt-A-Whirl" and "Lets Go All the Way" and the commentary by Violent J, Alex Abiss, and Rude Boy. This movie is for Juggalos and non-juggalos all over da globe. I give it 10 hatchets.

After having watched this video more times than I can remember, and having shown it to all kinds of people, I have decided that this work of art should only be watched by proffesional Juggalos. Only the real ones will get it and love it for what it is, and everyone else will just sit there like dumb lumps, with no clue of whats happning. This film is a religious experience for those who can handle it.

A Review For The Other DVD Version,
By Yuri Cunha "Juggalo" (Brazil) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Insane Clown Posse: Big Money Hustla$ - The Movie (DVD)
What's up, Juggalos? Well, first of all, if you're not a Juggalo or a Jugalette, then just get out, because your chances of enjoying this movie are something like zero, because you'll not get the Juggalo humor. So what's this Juggalo humor after all? I thought it was the type of things I listened in ICP skits, and between the songs... But it looks like it's not. This movie's jokes are waaaay more stupid than the jokes in ICP's songs. The movie is so stupid, I hated it the first time I watched. But then I watched it again, and I started to feel it. And now it gets better and more hilarious every time I watch it. As a spotlight review said, this version Amazon sells has only the movie. Ok, it's worth your money, but you can get a better version paying almost the same. The extras in the other edition, the one I own, are the amazing videoclips Let's Go All The Way (from Bizzar) and Tilt A Whirl (from Bizaar) and the hilarious commentary by Violent J, Rude Boy and Alex. Overall, as I said in the beggining, this is a movie for juggalos. You may like this movie if you're not a juggalo, but chances are minimal. But in cae you're a member of the family, just put that DVD in your shopping cart and insert that disc on your DVD player, and be ready to laugh as you never did before.

Funny but not for everybody,

I love this movie, it is just plain stupid funny humour and I loved every second of it, while my favorite movies go along the lines of horror and suspense, I laughed out loud at this filp. However, if you don't like icp twiztid and so on, I highly doubt you will like this. With a cast of icp. Twiztid, myzery, Jumpsteady, Alex Abiss, the jerky boys Mr Williams and a special appearence by Mike E. Clark. I will give you a small run down of the film.
Big Baby Sweets played by Violent J is a mobser controlling new york along side his two lackies (Jamie Madrox and Monoxide who pretty much steal the show) and Hack Benjamen as his personal bodyguard (Jumpsteady) a 70's type cop comes into town though, Sugar Bear (played by Shaggy 2 dope) who alongside Harry Cox (Mr Williams) and the chief ( played by one of the Jerky Boys) are set on taking Big Baby Sweets and his gang down. Along the way, Sugar Bear falls in love with a plus size stripper and so on. i won't give away to much, cause this is a movie you need to see for yourself. The soundtrack includes tracks by icp and twizted. On another note. do not get the version selling on amazon.com with just J on the front. If you get the one with him and Shaggs on the cover you get some great extras commentary by Violent J, Alex Abiss and The Rude Boy. Two icp music videos . No matter how mature and intelligent you are, by the end of this movie i'm sure you will be chanting "Magic Magic ninjas, WHAT!" |
