5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it, if you can look beyond the past., January 5, 2006

For most people, (Actually put simple, majority of Savage Garden fans) they were expecting a lot from Darren and his solo album. I honestly was one of them. I expected another one of those teary ballads that they were famously known for. I guess I expected too much however, if you are a true Savage Garden fan, you'd appreciate the fact that Darren was trying to break away from something that was the past. I personally think this was great single even though it didn't do well on the charts. Slow, enticing and indeed filled with passion. I don't think I could ever get sick of this song. If you love it that much, buy the album as well as the single!

5.0 out of 5 stars He's back!, January 29, 2002

As a HUMONGOUS Savage Garden fan, when I heard that Darren was embarking on a solo career, I was understandably excited. I loove this CD.. 3 great, catchy songs. While they are more pop-ish than some of Savage Garden's earlier stuff, it's still fun, sweet, and all-around great Darren Hayes music. The lyrics don't seem as deep or dark as they once were, but Darren sounds happy and genuine on these tracks. If you like Darren Hayes, buy it. If you liked Savage Garden, buy it. If you like pop music, buy it. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you like SG, it's a MUST have!, March 6, 2002

Just like other work he has done, Darren demonstrates yet another stage in his life. "RIDE" and "FALLING AT YOUR FEET" are definately radio worthy and it's a shame that they won't be shared with the whole world. None of the songs on the single sound like the other and you'll find yourself singing along with every single one of them (or at least I'm singing them all the time now). One thing is for sure, once you listen to it, your love for this cd will be "INSATIABLE"!

5.0 out of 5 stars I only have one word: WOW!!, March 5, 2002

I have been a huge Savage Garden fan since their start in 1997 and when I heard the Darren was going to release a solo album I was so excited! But nothing prepared me for the first track off the album "Insatiable". It has to be the most moving and beautiful words ever sung, and well they are a bit risque in some parts ;)! Nevertheless, Darren has showed us fans with the first single that he is on to bigger and better things, and on his way to truly becoming a star. I give this song 5 stars because never have I listened to a song and have it send shivers up my spine quite like "Insatiable". Good Luck Darren and I hope this album will bring you the stardom you so rightfully deserve. I know I for one will be there on March 19th to buy my copy of your CD "Spin".

5.0 out of 5 stars A little piece of heaven on earth, February 15, 2002
This review is from: Insatiable (Audio CD)
I have been a SG fan since '97 and was heartbroken at the announcement of their split. When the first hints of this song was being released I was determined to hear and I did. "Insatiable" is an beautiful song with the meaningful lyrics that Darren Hayes is known for. "Ride" and "Falling At Your Feet" are breathtaking as well and in some cases better than "Insatible." If you are a pop fan or a SG fan this single cannot be passed up. I adore all three songs and I am pretty sure that if you like pop you will as well.

This is a really great song, plus ride & falling at your feet are good too, especially FAYF- It sounds very Savage Gardenesque! This song really shows that Darren is just as good by himself as he was with Savage Garden! Pick up the single plus his new album which'll be out in the US in March!!!

When I heard the song for the first time on the radio, as always, I was hooked on Darren's voice. You have to hear "Insatiable." Lust? I think so.
