The Sherry King story is 4 or 5 stars. I love the plot concept and the strong characters, very well-written. I cared about the journey the characters went on and what happened to them. Unfortunately, the other two stories were nothing I could recommend. "Legacy of the Snake" was way too long and I did not feel invested in the characters. S.L. Carpenter's story seemed to be sex for sex sake. No real plot or well-drawn characters. I enjoy the sex scenes usually but there needs to be some reason for it and who cares if you aren't invested in the characters? If you could get King's "Sanctuary" as a stand-alone or e-book, I would highly recommend it, otherwise, save your money on this one.
