5.0 out of 5 stars HOT! HOT! HOT!, May 25, 2001
if you love books that are set in New Orleans, this is the one. Samantha Devearaux is temporary unemployed until her brother-in-law come back home from his honeymoon that is. She got a job in the Expo center to be a security guard and that is where she met Dominick LaRocca. Dominick is the CEO of LaRocca food and he is on a 'tour' promoting his pasta sauce. Unknown to him, his grandmothers, the chairman of the company, had put his 'most delicious' picture altogether with his net worth and his single status as a label of the pasta sauce. Just imagine the reactions of the women all over. He needs a bodyguard, and who better to guard his body than the gorgeous Sam. Sam posed as his fiancee and during all those adventures.. they both fall in love...

PS: this is the sequel of "Pure Chance" by Julie Elizabeth Leto that was out this January I think. So, she is Serena's sister. This book is another of Julie's best book. Keep that up!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good!!, July 24, 2001
Dominick LaRocca has a major problem. He is the CEO of his family's pasta sauce business and he now has to dodge the women of the world simply because his grandmothers thought it was high time he married and they decided to place his photo, along with his income and marital status, on the label of the LaRocca pasta sauce cans. Needless to say he isn't very happy with these two nanas of his but he refuses to hire a bodyguard. After an incident, involving some rowdy women, he reconsiders hiring a bodyguard after a sexy security guard saved him from having his clothes torn from his body at an expo where he had an appointment to promote his products.

This sexy security guard is Samantha Deveaux. We first met Sam in Leto's previous novel "Pure Chance", which is the story of Samantha's sister Serena. Sam is now working for her brother-in-law, Chance. He is the owner of a bodyguard business called No Chances. But since Chance and Serena are still away on their honeymoon, Sam takes a temporary job as a security guard at a Supermarketing Expo. Her job is to make sure Mr. LaRocca makes it to his booth in one piece. All hell breaks loose as he enters the building and this is where the fun begins!

I have to say that this book left me wanting more. More time with Sam and Nick. More time with Nick's nanas. Just more of anything to do with this story. Nick's nanas were a hoot and given more time, I think they could have stirred up even more fun!

Don't miss this sexy, funny read. Thank you Julie for such an entertaining read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Mmmm,mmmm,good!, June 4, 2001
We last saw Samantha Deveaux in PURE CHANCE with her sister Serena. Sam is back in New Orleans to start a new life away from her father and Hollywood's glitz. In order to make ends meet, she takes a security job for Supermarket Expo. How bad could it be? But she didn't bargain for Pasta Guy!

Dominick LaRocca's life was never the same after his grandmothers put him on the label of the family company's tomato sauce jar in an attempt to get him settled down. Well, life is anything but settled for Nick and is about to get even more so when Sam "Just-Doing-My-Job" ends up rescuing him from hordes of screaming women and ends up with a piece of his heart.

INSATIABLE defines the Temptation Heat tagline: Sassy,Sexy,Seductive. The shower scene alone is worth the price of the book. The characters and the story premise are delightful. Ms. Leto has another winner with more on the horizon.
