Different, just not great,
By A Customer
This review is from: Insatiable Passion (Harlequin Presents) (Paperback)
Back Cover description: Eight years ago Kitty had fled from home, away from the heartbreak Jake had caused her. Now, returning to Mirsby for her grandmother's funeral, she was determined to lay the ghosts of the past. After all, she had made a good life for herself as a well-known actress. So why was it that all her poise deserted her when she saw Jake again, still as attractive as before and infinitely more dangerous?OK, why 2 stars. I didn't really get any feeling from the characters, I couldn't even dislike them. The story was different from most of the L. Graham plots I've read so far, but I had the feeling the author just didn't know where to go with it. Not horrible, just blah.

An Insatiable Passion by Lynne Graham (Large Print Hardcover),

This review is from: An Insatiable Passion (Large Print Mills & Boon) (Hardcover)
Published in 1990, this story has a pretty complicated plot with more than the average amount of deceit, secrets, misunderstandings, and short tempers - all of which means this is not a light-hearted, quick read. But if you stick with the story and wait for all the twists to be revealed, I think you'll be pleased with how the story of these childhood sweethearts turns out ... thus, I gave it four stars.
