Editorial Reviews

Review

"If you want a better understanding of how to improve the health of your soil, your air, and your garden in general, you can't afford to miss this one. Great pictures and a top-notch reference, this book is a must-own."--Deborah Simpson, gardening guide at About.com

"One of the most common mistakes I see gardeners make is treating every insect or 'weed' in their garden as bad-- a little knowledge often reveals that the so-called 'pest' is just the opposite! With this easy-to-use guide, gardeners can quickly identify exactly what they're dealing with. Truly bad actors then can be efficiently dispatched via the organic methods described herein, but wonderful beneficial bugs and the wild plants that attract them to the garden will be spared!"--Mike McGrath, gardening columnist and host of the public radio show "You Bet Your Garden"

/this book was also purchased for my sister who lives in Missouri. I am sure that she enjoyed it and found it very useful and informative. She had another copy of it but gave it to someone else in her garden club so wanted another one exactly like the one she gave away which is this one.
