Product Description

Active Ingredient in Delta Dust is Deltamethrin. Delta Dust is a long term residual dust, killing crawling insects. Treats: For up to 8 months when left undisturbed. Odorless, non staining.Does not clump or absorb moisture. How do I properly use the hand duster? Remove black rubber cap from top of duster. The duster should be filled only halfway - no more than two-thirds full. This allows for adequate air space to create the desired air/dust mixture prior to application. If there is too much dust in the duster, clumps of dust on treated surfaces may result, leading to over application of the product and messy spills. Between each squeeze, the duster should be shaken slightly to get dust floating inside the duster. When applying dust , gently squeeze the duster to ensure the application of very thin layers of dust. When dusting correctly, you should barely be able to see the dust emerging from the tip of the duster. Before relaxing your grip on the duster, pull it away from the surface or crack you are treating to prevent sucking up lint, moisture or debris. Small amounts of these items will eventually cause lumping and/or clogging of the duster. In the event that the nozzle becomes clogged, you may unscrew the rod from the rear of the nozzle and insert it into the nozzle to break up any clogs.

For approximately two years, I've been aware yellow jacket wasps were building a nest in an exterior wall void of my home. I contacted an exterminator and the precise location of the nest (3 story home) couldn't be determined. Prices to solve the problem ranged from ridiculous to absurd, with no guarantees. One reputable firm suggested I do nothing based on the premise that when winter came, the queen would die and the nest would be abandoned. This didn't work, after no activity all winter, they were back with a vengeance in the Spring. Delta dust solved my problem in 3 days, effectively, thoroughly and for a very reasonable cost. Although to this day I haven't been able to locate a nest, my utility room in an obscure corner of the basement has no less than 20,000 dead yellow jackets lying in a corner. I must give this product five stars because I've tried every other chemical substance on the market with no significant results.

Product arrived promptly and the puffer was able to deliver a jet of the dust far inside a crevice into a hillside near my house. Bees where beginning to build a new hive in the crevice and the next day they were all gone. I intend to keep treating the crevice with the Delta Dust every 3-4 months to make sure the bees don't come back.

Had a yellow jacket nest hidden under the roof part/eave of a bay window on my home. Small crack was bees access point and I would see them coming and going for a couple months. Was concerned that they could find a way into the home or eventually chew through drywall and give a nasty surprise to the family if they ever found a way in. Fairly new home but still unsure of what the access looked like inside the structure.

After spraying wasp/yellow jacket spray form the local hardware, and filling crack with expanding foam yellow jacket killer spray. Nothing worked. I managed to create some one way entry traps using 2 liter coke bottles and apple juice which did catch just about 50 bees in total - nothing really did the trick. Worried that with fall coming they would get more aggressive and near a walkway someone might get attacked.

So after much research, decided to buy a Gotcha Pro sprayer attachment and this combo of Delta Dust and Puffer bellow. It worked great.

With a 12ft light aluminum extension [pole from the local hardware, I was able to puff the delta dust into and around the opening, I did this at night (but even did it during the day) and bees did not attack as I was pretty far away.

I repeated the dust puffs into the crack for a few days and probably put enough dust into the cavity to kill a small village but I can confidently say - 4 days later and no bee activity. I agitated the siding and fascia board by banging with a stick and no activity.

This stuff works great . Like a baby powder consistency and must really puff and dust inside cavities even though you can t see it puffing much. Takes a day or two to work as when they get it on their bodies they need to groom and swallow it for a sure kill.

Part of my driveway is sinking and has created an opening at the seam of the cement. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a large number of bees coming out of the crack when I walked around it. I tired many different products, but I couldn't really get it into the hive under the driveway. When I received the Delta Dust, I used the puffer to get the dust into the seam without much effort. The next day, no bees. I haven't seen any since. Worked well and it worked the first time.

Took care of my carpet beetle issue in quick order. They were coming from a crack between my cabinets and the dishwasher and some puffs of Delta Dust did the trick. Their numbers were vastly reduced within the first day and they disappeared within a week. I also had a little black ant colony in a crack of my sidewalk and gave a liberal application. They disappeared within a day or two. I can strongly recommend this product for either of those pesky critters. The puffer worked great for me, no complaints at all.

I had an infestation of bees under the siding of my house. After reading reviews I purchased the delta dust and puffer to get rid of the bees. It took two weeks to get rid of the bees. We used several applications of the delta dust. We sprayed into the opening where the bees were going in and we sprayed directly onto the bees. We also used wasp/bee sprays to kill them directly and even used soapy water spray. After two weeks, we have not seen the bees return. The areas inside the house where we used delta dust seems to keep spiders and other bugs away. I'm planning to reapply the delta dust every few months.

This dust was easy to apply with the puffer duster I used. It was very effective and covered the interior of the carpenter bee tunnels. Larva actually plopped onto the ground days later. The puffer worked beautifully. I just put a few tiny pebbles in it and shook from time to time. No clogging!
