This book was suggested by our arborist, Norm Fairow. It has excellent photography, is easy to read, comprehensive text and clearly explains the steps to eradicate or control a disease on garden plants. While looking at some of the photos, I'm eager for spring to see if my plant leaves are healthy or infected. Since it is winter, I have many chores to perform to control diseases that are dormant. I highly recommend this book for all Central Rockies gardeners!

This is one of the best books I have seen. If you have trees, you need this book! The pictures are excellent. Each problem contains information on diagnosis and damage. Then it explains the disease cycle and management. It has an index listing of trees and problems, or you can just look up a problem according to insects. This book is worth every penny it costs!

My company, in Montana, is expanding to include treatment of trees. We needed some help to learn id of different pests, and this book fit the bill. The pictures are great, and the descriptions are thorough and very helpful. I was pleased to discover an extensive id key in the back of the book, which should make id on-site much easier. Highly recommend!
