Why UNPREDICTABLE has not seen the light of day on CD til now is still a puzzle, considering it was her biggest selling album on Capitol Records. Cole fans know this LP so there is no need to rave on and on on how fantastic Unpredictable truly is. I also love the rare photo that's included here from the Inseparable shoot. Many thanks to RAVEN RECORDS for making this LP available on CD, lord knows US Record Companies aren't on target..............

I had these CDs on vinyl back in the 1970s. I bought this CD to replace the first two Natalie Cole albums I had. It has been like a dream to be able to listen to all the songs again, and still remember the words. This was a good price, and they are quality recordings - in fact they sound better than they did on vinyl (especially with the scratches my albums got on them).

These will remain my two favorite Natalie Cole CDs to date.

I wanted a break from my usual Jazz and Blues artists I listen to,

I bought Natalie's CD for that reason.

I don't think I can say much that has not already been said about this living Legend.,

She is just really, really Great.

Two of my favorite albums that I never actually owned. Although some collections have previously been released, they did not contain a few songs that move me so much emotionally--"You", "Still In Love". The wait was worth it. After all these years, Natalie, her music and delivery move me deeply.

The remastering, the sound quality is superlative!

Natalie is great when singing soul music, i like her dong the jazz part but

i prefer her doing soul!

inseparable is a great 1st album and unpredictable was still unreleased till now

and it is also a great album.

i strongly recommend this for those who likes soul music.

really would like to see her doing more of that!!

I bought this album the year it was released and loved it right off. Natalie hit the ground running and her mix of ballads, R&B hits and infectious melodies were terrific.

The new few years would be tough...the drugs, the soon-to-be ex-husband who controlled her career and her music, etc. But, she emerged from the 80s as a put-together woman still making great music.

Buy her debut and hear her in the early years of her career. You'll know why she had staying power and what made her so great.

And she's still great -- her last CD, "Leavin'" -- A+. You go, Natalie!

This cd is a must for all true r&b fans and early Natalie Cole fans in particular. When Natalie's career began she sang r&b, rather she SANG r&b. She had such an intensity, vocal range and pure emotional delivery she became the new Queen of Soul and garnered many Grammys.

Her first cd INSEPARABLE is filled with awesome tracks - not a miss in them all. But the gift here is her 3rd release UNPREDICTABLE which is her only album never released on cd. As the other reviewer said VERY STRANGE - this was her most popular and critically acclaimed album before UNFORGETTABLE. She truly came into her own here with r&b. Again, not a tune is a miss. All are awesome performed with the Natalie touch. The major ones are I'VE GOT LOVE ON MY MIND and I'M CATCHIN HELL which both went on to become concert tour de force highlights.

The cd gets 5 stars in every way. The remastering, performance, liner notes, etc. Amazon on the other hand gets no stars. This cd was just released and they say "available in 1-3 weeks." What a turn-off to purchase. I am ashamed of them for picking and choosing what to have immediately available.

This cd is a must have and get it elsewhere as I did so you can immediately and much cheaper have the magic that is Natalie Cole asap.
