WOW, what a waste of my money. Buy the WATCH IT MADE IN THE USA book if you want a great book on tours. 1. It dedicates 1 sentence to each tour. 2. No pictures. 3. Few Details. 4. It looks like someone looked up "tours" and compiled them.I will say that this book is heavy on wineries & breweries, so if you are into that, this is a better book for you since WATCH IT MADE doesn't include that in their book. This book is also heavy into Postal tours, Hatcheries, and Newspaper tours. It doesn't even mention the Crayola Factory in PA. The other book is much more nicely put together AND its cheaper.

WOW, What a Super book with so many great details. Before we went on my 4 week cross country trip, we bought this book to plan our trips. It provided me and my companion with extra-ordinary details that your typical travel books would not provide. And Typical Tourist, We'Re Not! We enjoy travelling to places that offer us an education not just looking at a picture on the wall, like the mona lisa or a mountain. We can buy a American Geographic video or an Art book for that. We saw places and learned alot about Industry in America that you don't see on mainstream TV or Guidebooks. Learning how things are processed, made and created offerd us the best experiences. We relied on this book a tremendous amount and even wrote to the Berger's asking when their next edition might come out.

This is a take-with-you-book that contains lots of information pertinent to industrial plant tours around the country. There are no glamorous color pictures or other coffee-table attributes, just 1,000 facinating places to visit with the family or friends for a cultural look at the inside of America.

This is a one of a kind resource book that provides a wealth of information about plant tours in more than 300 dfferent industries. Emphasis is on attractions that are free. Cultural tourism has become the largest segment of the multi-billion dollar travel industry. The book is dedicated to the thousands of workers in the American industries.
