This review is from: Inside the Blues, 1942-1982 - Updated Edition: Four Decades of the Greatest Electric Blues Guitarists (Book & CD) (Paperback)
This is a great book to learn some rhythm and chords from. I've learned some great T-bone and other classic sounding rhythm arrangements. That being said, the lead riffs sound stiff, the solos "in the style of" bb king, buddy guy, etc are not up to snuff. If you learn these solos and licks, you'll be programming yourself for poor sounding phrasing. The rhythm stuff is so good though that I still give it four stars!
