Loved it!
Staying in the Chelsea Hotel was a joyous and unique experience. Julia Calfee's photographs captured the essence of this experience. A brilliant and beautiful book.....

disappointed
I recently visited the Chelsea Hotel and was interested in photographs that captured the hotel. From my perspective, this book is very arty and really didn't deliver the experience. I am still looking for a book that catalogues the artwork at the Chelsea and photographs of the hotel and some of its famous inhabitants.

I am not an art critic, but I was enthralled with each and every page in this book. I felt the raw emotion inside every photo. I felt like I was there.
