I was so excited to find this book for so cheap- I'm taking a fashion design course and this was the required textbook. Even though it was required reading, when I looked through it, I could tell it was something I would want to keep and read beyond my class. It has lots of good information, and even if you don't need it for a class like I did, I would recommend it to anyone interested in fashion design.

This book was recommended to me by a fashion designer time get a general understanding of designing. I am an aspiring designer, with no formal training and interested in starting a small apparel line. This, book was just what I needed some that I could get a high level overview of the many pieces to the puzzle that resuis fashion (i.e. Sewing, stitching, body types, textiles, sourcing/manufacturing, production, collection, etc.,).

I read this book cover-to-cover in a few hours. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the industry, no matter what the role.
