Tony Trono's "The Inside Haircutting System" is a concise, but solid,
tutorial reflecting his many years' experience. Packed with essential
concepts and techniques that most cosmetology schools (basic or
advanced) gloss over, or omit entirely, it's a good refresher for the
experienced cutter and a "must read" for the novice.

I am VERY glad that I bought this book! This book was written by a world-class professional who is good at explaining what he does! It was the something more - the extra professional touch that I was looking for for my haircutting - that I have not gotten anywhere else so far! The haircutting system described in this book made sense, but I found several steps confusing, with pictures that didn't seem to match the step being described. As a non-professional with no schooling in the art of a good haircut/style (just a life-long passion for it), I was longing for just such a book to help me give more than just decent haircuts to my family. I was left wishing this one had been a bit clearer in spots with a few more pictures pertaining to the actual steps. Still, the general idea of the system seems excellent.
